Been looking for reviews of the Asrock x399 as the Threadripper current "budget" board. Tweaktown has a review.

Gigabyte's board is apparently slightly faster than the Asus x399 Zenith. Two many switches and power delivery reroutes I take it. I agree, we need a comprehensive x399 guide that compares vrms, power phases and all.

Boards do matter.

I tried super hard to get the gigabyte board but Amazon totally seeped it up so I'm using the MSI carbon.

Its crazy to see Taichi being called as budget board, when its one of the best for AM4 socket
