Posting this as an FYI more than anything. I searched on the internets for my problem, but turned up nothing so I will make this so if there is another poor soul like me, they will find the answer.
E350M1 board (not USB3 model, but could present in the same fashion) WILL NOT connect at gigabit speeds if you have a video card in the PCIe x16 slot. it _seems_ like there are just not enough PCIe lanes.
summation: want gigabit LAN speeds? don't install video card.
I have tested this on 2 different boards, i informed ASRock and they wanted to send me new boards. i'm going to just assume if it happens on 2 (exact same behavior) it happens on all.
gonna go ahead and throw in SOLVED 10/100 1gb as keywords
