ASRock 775Vsta work with Xeon 3040? It doesnt list it on their site, my guess is yes since its essentially the same. But i need confirmation before i pull the trigger.
i haven't tried a xeon 3050 in my asrock 775 dual vista but since it's based on a core 2 i don't see any reason why is wouldn't work on it as long as the asrock has the correct bios for core 2 support. but since i haven't tried it myself YMMV on this one.
as inexpensive as the core 2 xeons are i've been tempted to run one my self for overclocking as there likley cherry picked core 2's you might get a higher OC with less volts and heat--.
