It's important to note you must use a switch that understands how to interact with the ports. Not all switches will do this. Prepare to spend big dollars for a switch than can do this.
The HP 1810G and 1820G switches do 802.3AD aggregation and are quite cheap and improtantly for home use very quiet. I have a 24 port one here and it works great with Intel NICs in both Windows and Linux. Just over 200Mbyte/sec from Windows to Centos box.
