Are there any 16x9 or 16x10 30 or 32" monitors with 144hz refresh?

I'm looking for a new gaming PC. The size and the refresh are important to me. I do NOT want an ultrawide as I use it for browsing the web, word etc as well. I have a second monitor and couldn't fit an ultrawide next to it.

I can't seem to find anything in the 30" plus size that is 16x9 or 16x10 and has a high refresh rate.

Closet thing you're going to find are the ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q and the PG279Q. They're both unfortunately 27", not your desired 30"+. But I have a PG278Q and I absolutely love it, I could never go back to a non G-Sync monitor.

No. I believe AUO is the only manufacturer making 144+ Hz panels and they only go up to 27" at the moment with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The 16:10 aspect ratio is all but dead, and the ones that are being made are more than $1,000 US with a 60 Hz refresh rate.

Thanks for your responses! I think I'll just have to try to be patient although I'm really really not good at that. I could never go smaller than 30" again and I would really like a higher refresh rate on my next monitor. Looks like I'm at least a year away.

I can't find the refresh rate on the M320QAN01.2 screen planned for June.

I wouldn't hold your breath. It's a 4K panel, meaning DP 1.3 or Thunderbolt 3 will be needed to drive it at refresh rates higher than 60 Hz. There are currently no video cards on the market with these types of outputs.

Couldn't it drive faster than 60hz at lower resolutions? Also I could use a new video card - I'm planning on replacing my 780 when the GP100 becomes available.

If both the controller board and panel support it, sure. But not all 4K monitors or TVs support refresh rates higher than 60 Hz at a resolution like 1920x1080.

both are a waste of money. samsungs quantum dots have a scanning full array local dimming for similar prices.

So are there any of those QD 32" 16x9 2560 or higher res that are 144Hz?

Wish they could release a 30" 2560x1440 monitor, for my tastes 27" is slightly too small'ish for that res. That's still just below 98 PPI compared to ~91 PPI for a 24"/1080p, a suitable jump with still subjectively percievable jump in IQ, if you like me thought 24"/1080p was pretty reasonable PPI but 109 again at 27"@1440p is a bit overkill geometry proportional size wise for my tastes, I get the feeling proportions of objects (say a building or whatever in a game) get a bit too small feeling and to me it starts hurting immersion.

I just don't get it why we got a lot of 27" @ 1080p which was a stupidly low PPI (other than for elderly people with poor eye sight which it's perfect for) but they cannot bring 30" @1440p as a common option which still has a significant jump in PPI to even 24"@1080...

Feels like a waste of marketing space not offering it TBH, I'm sure a lot/majority of people would pick 30"@2560x1440 over 27" if the option was a common one.

you are asking for too much granularity: we have 2560x1440 is available at 24", 25", 27" and 32".
At 2560x1600 we have 30".
4k is available at 27", 28" 32", 39", 40" and 43"

I disagree. To me 27" is the perfect size for 1440p. I had a 30" 16:10 2560x1600 and felt I could see the pixels a bit on that plus it was a size that was difficult to deal with IMO.

For a 4K screen I would prefer 30-32" 16:9 though. It's annoying that the first 144 Hz 4K screens will be only 27".

31.5" 144hz 2560x1440 VA panels are coming.
AOC has announced their AG322QCX launching in May, for example

If you are looking for any resolution, nearly all of the major brands have a monitor with the 31.5" 144hz 1080p Samsung SVA panel available. They are mostly available in Australia though, and some in Europe
