Hello,
I'm need to find a way to format an old PowerPC that has OS 8.5 on it.
I've tried booting to it from an OS 9.3 setup CD (the whole holding the "C" button down while booting" routine), but it simply tells me that the hardware is not compatible with this version of OS.
So are there any other ways to format (write zeros) a PowerPC hard drive from a bootable utility or from withing OS 8.3?
Or will I need to find a OS 8.5 setup cd and format from that?
Thanks.
