Hello!

Apple mail on iOS:
Does apple mail on ios only downloads headers, or does it download content and attachment as well, during IMAP sync? I would guess only headers, but I want to be sure.
What about when I open a mail? Download content only or attachment as well? I would say it downloads attachment when I open it and not before?
What happens with that mail when I move to read another. Is it erased or cached on device? I have about 40GB mailbox and I wouldn't want to save all my email on the phone/ipad. Headers would be enough

OSX and iOS:
How do I subscribe only to certain imap folders on my server and not all?

You can limit the email by "days to download" but otherwise it's hard to limit.
