Played the other night after a long day of work with some friends. Sbmm is and was always a thing but I haven't had much trouble mowing down predators.

Im enjoying the Hemlock, the single fire is nice when trying to hit longer shots.

peace keeper is my go too, it feels well balanced right now

Didn't realize Hemlock had single fire, I like that gun, won a couple duos last night with my buddy including one with hemlock winning kill. I really wish duo mode was permanent as I enjoy it more than playing 2 + 1 random if our third buddy can't join. I agree about the R99, what was the Prowler buff? I used that gun with selectfire a ton in early Apex days but haven't since then, maybe it's time to give it another shot since select fire hop-ups seem to be all over the place. Saw my first yellow Devotion drop last night but didn't get a chance to use it, that was my go-to gun in S3 with turbocharger.

You know, now that they have kings canyon for a few days I've come to the realization that this map was highly overrated. I think a lot of people are just nostalgic of it and S1/S2 but in reality Worlds Edge w/the updates in S4 is easily the better map. It has better loot distribution, better choke points, more buildings, better variety of buildings and terrain.

Still the best BR game out there imo. Warzone just doesn't provide the kind of rush, speed and intensity that Apex does:

I'm playing this game for the first time ever and I cannot get through the training section without crashing: dxgi error device hung. I'm on the latest driver (445.75) - rig in sig.
Been searching online and there doesn't seem to be any good fix - anyone here know any?

Yup, also DDU and clean install of driver (never used nVidia Experience so that's not installed either). CPU is not oc'd right now, neither is my ram (which I have tested, they are fine). Just now I have changed V sync to Adaptive, and changed to borderless windowed and I managed to get through the training section, so we'll see how long this lasts!

This used to happen with Turing gpus but it was fixed by respawn and nVidia in a new driver update. Try using that specific Apex driver if it continues.

ddu and go back a driver version. ive seen several people around here having issue with the newest one.

No issues with a 1080 Ti on 442.74 if that means anything.

After being disappointed with the new Warzone BR, I decided to pick this game back up. Haven't played since a year back, and I'm liking the new maps/ improved driver performance.

I get 75fps on my GTX 1060 6GB, all high - much improved over the 55 fps I got at-launch.

I could see myself plying a lot of this next weekend!

kind of a necro but anyways, new season launched and the game is mostly borked atm, at least the servers are up, only access to the base legends atm though, not sure anything you do is counting for the new seasonal stuff and the shop is down.

You would think after all the seasons they went trought this one would launch smooth as most of the other seasons did, guess I was wrong

You would think lol. I think season 8 was my favorite too.. Maybe season 5 close runner-up. I have 1600 hours or so into this game ... been playing since the start and it's still the only game I play really.. I always have fun.. Reminds me so much of Quake2 CTF/Lithium but on a MUCH MUCH larger scale..

Anyways.. I was going to take a break tonight which sounds like the right move lol. Let the dust settle a little.

lol... a little. Cool.. I still took the night off. Tonight too - much going on outside of gaming.. I'll add you in origin for sure though.. My origin is crumple_z0ne (a name I picked a long long time ago and never expected to use it for much lol)
