Aopen XCube EX761 + AMD Turion -- Will it work?

If this was addressed by this forum already, sorry, I just did a search and turned up nothin'.

Basically, I'd like to hear if anyone has done/ has seen the Aopen XCube model EX761 built with a nice, shiny new Turion; will the BIOS run with it? Will the heatsink accept a CPU without a heatspreader?

I also sent an inquiry to Aopen; if I get a response from them I'll post it here.

Thanks your feedback, due the CPU fan sink height. We do not
recommend you use it with the original fan sink. It might damage CPU
directly. But BIOS could recognize. (If you want to use the Turion, we
recently have ATX motherboard bundle CPU fan sink for mobile.
vK8T800a-LFS. Please check the remarket to support Turion that will put
the fan inside),

So the answer is yes, but given the incredible price of the Clawhammer Newegg has on sale right now, I don't think it's relevant to me. In fact, I know it isn't.
