This post is mainly to let people who have purchased something off me recently know what is going on. The moderator i spoke to refused to sticky this for some reason, so help me out guys and keep bumping this so everyone who needs to see this, does.
I am having concentration issues so please forgive any errors or ramblings..
Everything started out this past Sunday night. I was coming back from a leadership meeting at the Baptist Student Union, apprxoimately around 10PM. I was already feeling lousy but though nothing of it. I was walking with my girlfriend back to her dorm and I started to get very dizzy and heavy-headed. She told me that I was stumbling left and right. She got in her dorm and got me a doctors appointment at the schools college for Tuesday. I made it back to my dorm and I blacked out for an instant going up the stairs, waking up not remembering much of anything. I went to bed and I did not awaken til later in the day and was feeling miserable. Missed all my classes and meetings. As the day progressed, things got worse. My Tuesday appointment came at noon. I told them my smyptoms: difficulty breathing, fever, soar throat, extreme pain, blackouts, and several others. They beleived that I had pneumonia so I went to the radiologist and got xrays of my lungs to find out. The xrays came back and they said it appeared I was in the beginning states of pneumonia, again (have had it 3x before). They gave me some anti-biotics and I went back to the dorm and rested as instructed. I had a re-check Thursday morning. Wednesday evening came around and things really started getting bad. I was having severe pains in my abdomen and chest as well as multiple other problems. I went to the doctor at 8:30am and told them of the pain and they said I had a fever of 102, took some more blood, and asked me to go get more xrays- except of the abodmen now. I was in no condition to drive so I had to wait on my girlfriend to take me to get xrays. They put me in the ward as they said I was in no condition to be alone. I was in there from 9:30am until about 1pm. I got my girlfriend to take me back to the radioloist and things kept getting worse and worse. I got the xrays back and they said my spleen was extremely enlarged. While the doctors and nurses were talking, Katie said I grabbed my left side and had a face full of pain. The doctors came in and said I must go to the ER immediately. Katie ran me to the Emergency Room around 3 or 4, I dont remember. The pain was excruciating, I could not see straight, I was confused, and scared. The doctors ran more xrays, an ultrasound, blood, and several other tests on me. They said that my spleen was over 30% larger then it is supposed to. As time went on, I was getting worse and worse. I was unable to open my eyes or speak to my visitors and had to respond by a handgrip system. My fever stayed above 102' while I was in the ER. After about 6 horus in the ER they diagnosed me with a rare but severe case of "Epsteine Barr". They said the cause and cure is unknown, it just has to work its way out, and hopefully it will, but there is not much they can do. They took more blood and sent it off to one of three labs in the US that can monitor and evaluate this "Epstine Barr" virus and will not know how bad it is until 2-3 days. I was rushed home earlier as they told me it was best to be in my own home and near my own hospital and doctors. All the doctors did down there was give me some massive painkillers and steroids so that I have energy to move around (as painful as it is).
That is about all I can say about what has been going on recently, and why my communication has been poor. Trust me guys, I do not want to be in this situation, I have not been able to go to any of my classes at all this week, and next week is looking cloudy. I want to offer a deep heart-felt apology to everyone who has purchased something from me and has not received it. You will get your stuff sent out the day that I return back to school as it is all in my room. I would ask my roomate to ship it out, except I do not trust him with your valuable stuff, quite honestly. Everyone who has an open deal with me please just post here with your name and what you purchased and I wil try and keep you updated as much as I possibly can. I will try to update this post, but I am not sure how I will be feeing. Once again, I want to offer my deepest apologies to all of you, I hate it so much that you paid for your stuff and have not gotten it yet, as I know I love to get my stuff quick. I'd offer a refund, but money is really really bad right now, especially with the hospital bills and work I am missing now, however if your purchase was minor and would like a refund, I will try my hardest to see what Ic an do.
