Anyone using Promise VTrak SAN arrays?

If so, what models are you using and what kind of success have you had?

The EqualLogic SAN arrays I'm using at home are just too expensive to justify, so I bought an older Promise VTrak M500i and filled it with 2TB drives. It works like a champ, albeit, at a reduced speed from the EqualLogics. I can buy several Promise arrays for each EqualLogic, so the cost difference is significant and far outweighs the speed difference.

I have switched to solely using iSCSI in my home network. Fibre Channel was inconvinient and SCSI doesn't scale at all.

Yeah, hardware the price of a car seems just a tad expensive for "home use", and even those Promise are really expensive for this forum imho.
