Anyone still overclocking on the asus p8p67pro?

Have a now unwanted rig I built for a brother a few years back with a p8p67 pro rev 3.0 plus a 2500k.

Curious if anyone had much to say about this boards ability to overclock. Tips? Quirks?

Any idea what size hammer to use when installing the magic smoke in the box?

you should be able to get that 2500k up to 4.5 easy, higher if you fiddle.

I had the deluxe until recently, great boards.

I wouldn't use the auto overclock feature, as it tends to increase the BCLK above 100, which can cause instability. Leave the BCLK at 100 and tune the multiplier to overclock. 4.5 should be no problem.
