Anyone planning to test DC projects on AMD Ryzen?

Holy crap! 80k points in a single day?!

This still based on "luck of the draw" projects or did you assign it a specific project?

Yup, "luck of the draw" projects for WCG. And the GTX 1080 has been in the build a couple days now crunching away at Prime Grid and GPUGRID when it can get WUs.

I think my next F@H GPU rig will consist of an AMD Ryzen build this go around. Come to think of it, with the issues I've been having with my NAS I might upgrade it to a Ryzen build.

I want to see what this ends up being and what the cost of a build would be before investing in more of the currently available Ryzen CPUs and B350/X370 boards.

Boards for Ryzen CPUs with more than 8 cores. Would love to see what a 2P 16 core setup would do if it's affordable.

No clue. Leaks just coming out. X399 server boards can't be that far away. The X390 board in the 2nd picture looks interesting as well. A 16 core single CPU board.

Well consider myself curious especially if they're priced similar to the desktop/enthusiasts products.

On another note. Running updates on my new (got it last year) 4P right now. Should be crunching on it within' an hour and a half now.

That would be interesting. ETA?

the 32/64 naples is some time in april i believe maybe at the same time as the ryzen R5 processors and i'd guess late april or may for the 16/32 and 12/24 chips.

Fuck that. I want four of those 32/64 processors for my next 4P! ASAP

A 1800x is showing 120k PPD on core a7 WU and around 60k PPD on a4. I too am very interested in the upcoming 2p naples chips

120k still isn't enough to justify the cost of running it on F@H.
