Anyone know about this board? How does it compare to NF7-S?

Just found this one today for the first time... Seems to have some things going for it over the NF7-S. Dual bios feature, 4 IDE connectors, 4 DIMM slots, gigbit lan.. plus the standard SATA/RAID, Firewire, USB, integrated sound/network. ..etc.

Have a look at it. Anyone ever heard of it? I may consider it since the price is almost exactly the same. Just want to get some opinions on it.

If you plan on really overclocking...get the nf7-s
believe that gigabyte ain't worth it ...in that regard.

Personally...I'd look at the DFI Ultra Infinity NFII

2.0 Vcore, 1.9Vdd, 3.3Vdimm
.......everyone with one hits 240 - 250fsb ...highest 270fsb. Great bios support. And the same features as the nf7-s including soundstorm..sata raid, etc ...$95

I've ordered mine..The Lanparty B is basically the same thing...but it adds Gigabit Lan and glows in the dark...:D

How bout the RAID does that extend to IDE or is it just SATA? If it does I just have to get myself one. I just noticed that it doesn't have the Soundstorm APU or does it? I see that alot of nforce2 boards have the APU but don't have one thing or another that lets them call it Soundstorm.

i have that gigabyte board, and 2 of my freinds do too, one of my freinds has a 2500 oc'd to a 3000+ on that board, and i like the dual bios feature, cause im a dumbass, and it has saved me a couple of times.

It does not have IDE RAID only sata raid.
It has Soundstorm.

It looks like this new board has the AN7 fixes to the DDR voltage regulators. It has the HSF screw holes that the Gigabyte lacks (fatal flaw). Including a southb heatsink is good, the spacing next to the AGP slot like NF7-S is good, and the price is good.

Ill have to grab one soon. I'd luv to see the performance results from using 4 disks in SATA raid setup. I'd have to get 2 more Abit adapters and 2 more Maxtors.
