Anyone here bougth batteries from Ebay?

I'm looking for batter for my Canon SD300, and the prices at Ebay are ridiculously low. I mean genuine Canon battery is around $50.00~$65.00 and Ebay has it for around $4.00 to a high $30.00...

Not sure if it's worth the risk?

Years ago I bought a generic battery for my Canon S30 from ebay (seller: eforicty) and the battery worked like a charm. Never had problems with it.
 
yea i bought a battery from ebay for my rebel and it is still one in use about 9 months later and holds a good charge
 
I'm getting ready to buy some batteries for my 350D. $9 bucks after shipping... can't beat that. Also, I know another member here, ncn preacher, has ordered these batteries off Ebay and he says their great. In fact, they hold more charge than the 750mah that comes with the camera.
 
I got a "genuine" battery for the D Rebel. But it wasn't, it was a Hong Kong knock-off. And when my camera auto shut-off, it would not come back on sometimes.
