Anyone have experience with the Corsair "Dark Core" Wireless Mouse?

I bought one for my brother for Christmas. He was unable to get the button-mapping software to work properly. After a lot of troubleshooting time with no success we ended up returning it. Also, it is a very large mouse. I would say I have average sized hands and using the thumb buttons was not possible without shifting my grip on the mouse significantly. Tracking worked great though and no noticeable wireless lag.
 
Thanks for the follow up. My hands are average to small, so that would potentially be an issue for me as well. The button mapping software is also a problem. I'm used to Logitech's, where it can actually save it in the firmware.
Seems like a hard pass.
