Anyone have experience with MSI's support for laptops?

I am starting to eye new laptops and MSI is a brand I'm considering. Right now I have an Alienware and I'm just not thrilled with their new offerings. However, one of the reasons I got one in the first place is support. Dell tends to have good support and indeed I've twice needed it for my X15 and both times they've been great. While I know MSI won't have the same network of support Dell does (they have contractors that'll do next day on-site), how are they in general?

Any other brands I should consider that have a reputation for good support?

I'm not buying any time soon, just considering options at this point.

I use MSI currently. I love it actually even though I bought not the expensive but gaming one. Talking about support. I mean I bought it on ebay so the only support I can achieve is just a support from ebay customer service number I bought my laptop. But MSI is definitely a worth one to look at

My experience with MSI and my laptop have been good. Had an issue, filed a ticket, mailed it off, fixed, sent back. It wasn't overnight, but the turn around was acceptable. Week and a half total.

Only qualm I have had with my MSI lappy is, I had to ask them to send the hardware needed to install a second NVME. Free of course, but you have to ask for it. Fans are a bit loud too during gaming. Beyond that, lappy does what lappy does. Considering I got it in a raffle, I'm happy with it.

At the end of the day, it's not going to be Dell or Apple tier. However, my experience with them and getting warranty support on both a GPU and a laptop was very good for what it is, and MSI is generally my preferred brand for GPU's and motherboard because of that fact. You aren't getting on site support with MSI though like Dell.

I wouldn't really trust any other brands outside of maybe HP if you're concerned about having top-tier warranty support. On the PC side that's pretty much only HP & Dell.

Done a couple rmas for msi laptops. Think they all went smoothly. One of them was a cheap laptop from Walmart and the cheap plastic was cracked, sent it in for a new motherboard and they replaced all the broken casing as well. Good experience for me. Just ordered another msi laptop.
