Anyone have a Sky/Kaby Lake Pentium?

How are they on older games?

War Thunder
CoH
Red Orchestra 2 (unreal engine 3)
Starcraft 2
Killing Floor 2

Be paired with a 1050ti (already have).

Anything older than those and I know they'll play just fine (AoE 2, SC1, Pretty much any Tycoon game). I don't play AAA titles.

Otherwise everything else will be day to day internet browsing and youtube. Even my wifes little HP x360 Pentium can handle that.

well not sure for older games but for newer AAA game it's on par with an i7 6700k coupled with a 1050ti according to this https://www.techspot.com/review/1325-intel-pentium-g4560/page4.html

So me thinks you should be fine.

I’ve got a node 202 with g4560 and 1050ti and I’m amazed at how good it runs all the latest games at 1080p with some settings dialed back a bit. For the older stuff it won’t havy any problems either. If you’re looking at pentium, definitely get the one with 4 threads.
