Anyone get their GTX 780ti game bundle from Amazon yet?

Hi all,

I overnighted a 780ti on release day from Amazon (using the [H]ardOCP sponsored link).

I was all excited to play Batman, but I still haven't received a coupon for the free games from Amazon yet.

I'm a little worried Amazon is confused since the 780ti page doesn't clearly list the game coupon like the 780 page.

Has anyone gotten their 780ti coupon codes yet? Is it worth asking EVGA?

Thanks.

Did you order a 780(or bundle equivalent card) off amazon before and gotten the bundle? Apparently it's only 1 bundle per customer. Found that out the hard way after ordering 2 780s from Amazon.

Good thought, but it was my first video card purchase from Amazon in quite a while.

I may have purchased some cards for work over the last couple years, but none came with bundles.

I bought my last video card for home, a GTX 680, from NewEgg at launch. It took them days to finally ship it. I guess I should have payed extra for 'rush handling', although it just made me decide to use Amazon from now on.

AFAIK you don't get the game bundle if it isn't specified on the product page. The checkout page will also state "token bounceback offer". On top of this, it is only one per customer per account.

I wanna say the first day of sales didn't include the promo, but I could be wrong. Always double check the product page before ordering, never assume that you will get free bundles with cards - if you order without double checking, it's very possible you won't get it. It will always be specified on the product page at both newegg and amazon, and will be included as a "token bounceback offer" on amazon during checkout and will be on your invoice for newegg.

Same situation here as the OP. I ordered on release day, no coupon codes yet. I contacted amazon and this is what they said:

Hello,

I checked the description of the Get up to 3 Free PC Games with Select GeForce GTX Graphics Cards offer, and see that we'll send your promotional certificate via e-mail within 7-10 business days with download codes for Assassin’s Creed IV:Black Flag, Splinter Cell:Black List, and Batman Arkham Origins after the order ships. You will receive two separate emails.

Here's the link to this offer for your reference:

http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=amb_link_385638442_3?ie=UTF8&node=7730641011&pf_rd_m...

As long as your order meets all of the terms and conditions for the offer, you'll receive your promotional certificate by within 7-10 business days after the product ships. If you don't receive it by then, please let us know using the link below:

So I'm going to wait 'till next Wednesday then I'll contact them again.

My promo was sent instantly after shipping, it's all automated as far as I know. That 7 day wait is BS, you will most likely have to be forwarded to their promotions department that handles that stuff.

I did from Tiger Direct but I had to online chat with a rep to get it.

Same here, for once, tigerdirect was awesome fixing this problem for me. I guess many retailers did not get the coupons before a majority of the cards got shipped out.

Yeah I contacted them again and this time they gave me the codes straight away

When you say it's automated, does that mean the codes are e-mailed to you? Or are they shipped? I'll be receiving my 780ti probably by Monday but since it was a gift, how will I know where the codes get sent? This is all assuming of course the promo qualifications are met.

Amazon always emails game codes.

For you guys who ordered from TigerDirect, did you contact them for the codes after receiving your shipment or right after placing your order? Are the codes usually supposed to be in the box or emailed after the order has been placed (or shipped)?

I just ordered today and 3 games are shown in the picture, but not listed in the description. The also have another page about the promo with all the cards listed and the one I ordered is there. I just want to make sure its not a huge hassle to get all the game codes.

When I bought an EVGA GeForce 780 GTX from NewEgg, I got 2 scratch-off cards with codes, and had to go to nVidia's website to cash them in.

Ok, thanks. I'll wait and see if they're in the box before contacting them about emailing codes.

I emailed Amazon Friday and they said:
I'm sorry to hear that you still have not received the promotion for the "EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti, 3GB, 3072MB,GDDR5 384bit, Dual-Link DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI,DP, SLI Ready Graphics Card (03G-P4-2881-KR) Graphics Cards 03G-P4-288".

I checked the description of the item offer, and confirm that we'll send your promotional certificate via e-mail within November 18, 2013.

It's odd to me that some people got their codes right away, and some got them as soon as they contacted Amazon.

I guess I'll wait a couple more days and see what happens.

I think what happened is those of us that ordered the card the second it appeared on amazon had our orders processed before Amazon could add the 780Ti to the promotion list.

For anyone wondering, TigerDirect just emailed me codes automatically today when I got the shipping notification.

Despite Amazon's assurance, the codes never did show up automatically.

Since I'm past my promised code date, I contacted them again and this time they sent the codes.

My guess is when I contacted them before, I got someone who wasn't allowed to send the codes until waiting for 10 business days (in hope that the automatic system would work, even though it wasn't working in this case).

Oh well. Amazon has been so great in the past that I'll give them a pass on this one. Free games aren't exactly life and death ;)

It was a hassle to be honest. I ordered one of my 780's from Newegg and the other from TD. The card from NE came with all 3 game codes in the box while the one from TD came with an E-mail with the code ONLY for Batman. I contacted them via email (TD) and he said I would receive the codes within 5 days, which was BS and he was basically passing the buck to the nest CS. 7 days later I contacted them via chat and was issued the codes. A total hassle.

I guess I got lucky then or else they cleaned up their act after so many complaints. They did email both codes to me when my order finally shipped, which took a couple days.

The codes dont show up immediately. Technically, they have 10 days to deliver the codes although it only took I think a day or two for mine to arrive AFTER purchase (not arrival).

Completely false NickJames. Amazon is screwing customers out of their 2nd set of codes for their second card. I spoke with Amazon about this and they told me the same thing, but in the NVIDIA Terms & Conditions, it states one PER CARD. I spoke with NVIDIA chat about it and they confirmed. I sent that chat to Amazon and they replied with this:

Hello,

First, please allow me to extend my most sincere apologies for any frustration this matter has caused. It is certainly not our intention for our
customers to have any thing but pleasant experience at Amazon.com.

Thank you for writing to us with the correspondence from NVIDIA customer support.

I've contacted our concerned department and got the second set of codes for you.

Your promotional code for free Assassin’s Creed IV:Black Flag and Splinter Cell:Black List games:

You can get yours at http://www.GeForce.com/HolidayBundle and enter the redemption.

Your promotional code for free Batman Batman Arkham Origins games.:

You can get yours at http://www.GeForce.com/FREEBATMAN and enter the redemption.

I've reported this issue to appropriate team to make sure this doesn't happen again.

I hope this helps. We look forward to assist you further.

Thank you for your inquiry. Did I solve your problem?

Glad to see that TD has cleaned up their act regarding the codes. It was a pain in the ass for me.

I am getting real tired of Amazons sneaky shit. They have great customer support when it counts for things like returns but small shit like this pisses me off.
