Anyone get a Ryzen 9 3900x to work on a GIGABYTE X470 AORUS?

Someone told me (not here) that the x470 Aorus would support the new AMD CPU's when they came out. Now they're saying it only supports 1st and 2nd gen. I don't get it. Has anyone tried it?

Works fine. Don't forget to flash to the bios that supports the new Ryzen.

Works fine for me. Just added an extra fan to cool the VRMs. I'm also using a 360mm slim rad and the new Optimus Foundation AMD WB.

No need to Overclock and besides the 3900x does not have much headroom to OC and temps really spike.
