Anybody here have EVGA SSC 1060, if so how loud is it when gaming ?

I'm sensitive to noise so I know for a fact that the MSI 1060 GAMING X 6G is very silent but I like the EVGA look a lot more.

Which should I get ?

Definitely go with EVGA, they have an actual customer service/tech department that is real and excellent and EASY TO REACH BY PHONE and their series 9 and 10 gaming cards are the best for build quality

Supposedly the later revisions of the card enable passive idle, along with lower fan speeds. It's nearly as silent as other 2-fan cards under load.

It's just such a fucking pain to point you to any solid measurements because the inital cards shipped with uber-loud fan curve. But several of the reviews have an addendum about them updating the shipping fan curve, and adding idle passive mode.

And don't want to take the risk? Just buy one on Amazon, and return it if you don't like it. Just keep the original shipping box and packaging to return it. and they'll give you a pre-paid UPS label.
