Any upcoming monitors that have built-in strobe modes but aren't GSYNC?

Basically I just want a otherwise-normal 1080p monitor with a proper 2D Lightboost implementation... by proper meaning one that doesn't require hacking/trickery, is much brighter, and supports strobing at more refresh rates (like 60hz and 85hz). I know Gsync monitors will feature proper strobed display modes, but I don't wanna have to get an Nvidia GPU just because I want strobing. Also hoping not to pay a $200+ premium over a regular 24" monitor, but I probably would.

The BenQ Z monitors support strobing at multiple refresh rates starting at 75 Hz up to 144 Hz. The 24" will be out in a few months. The 27" is available now but has a firmware bug that requires sending it to BenQ to be updated.

PCmonitors.info is now saying the 24" versions (XL2411Z and XL2420Z) will be available in the U.S. this spring, March at the earliest. The 2411z is described as having "ultra low 0.001-frame input lag,” which sounds like the low-lag "instant mode" on the older 2411t. Looks promising.
