In the past few weeks I just noticed the A75. I've heard good things about the A70, but I'd like to know if anyone has picked up the A75 in particular.

The only guy I've talked to about it said that he thought there was very little practical difference between the two.

little difference

save the money and get an a70, or spring for the a80

Not much different. Here compare them here PowerShot

EDIT: Ok you can't compare them, but from what I read the only differences are a direct print and share button, and a new scene mode.

Cheers,

-Larger, higher resolution LCD display
-More focus points

Very important improvements. Also comes with a 32mb CF card (instead of 16mb).

i still dont know if it would be worth the extra cash.. at least not for me personally. the A40, A60, and A70 focused fine IMO, and although the higher res LCD is nice, it wouldnt be worth the extra for me. Oh, and i have never used any of my CF cards that came with the camera... they just always go in a box somewhere normally, as they are to small to be worth carrying them around.

Sounds like it's an aggregation of multiple small improvements. Right now, I think I'd actually go for an A75 if I had to choose between it and the A70.
