With the 580 being sold, Nvidia has released new drivers. However, for the first time in quite some time, the 262.99 is only marked as compatible with the 580. No reference to any improvements, on the surface it looks like just a release to work with the 500s.
If you search for drivers for geforce 500 series, the 262.99 above is returned.
For 400 and 200 series, the 260.99 is returned.
I'm a little hesitant to do so myself, but has anybody already jumped the gun and installed 262.99 on an older card and can comment?
