I have 2-3 usb utilities and would like each to be bootable from a flash drive. any good articles out there?

extracting the iso could work but selecting which to boot too on bootup is tricky

i tried yumi, xboot, rmprepusb

the issue i have with all of them is they do not recognize the local disk drive. if i try fdd instead of hdd it is hit or miss or wont boot.

it looks like its not directly the tool i'm using but the older pcs with older bioses. they are p4 and dual core machines from 3-7 years old. any advice for having bootable utilities recognize the local disk?

i tried fat16, fat32, grub4dos and syslinux

ok so the stick is made on ahci pc. the workstations with xp are ide which is causing the issue. we can flip it to ahci but it then will bsod once the pc is repaired since the image is ide not ahci.

any ideas to make the stick compatible with both ahci and ide devices?

A layer of abstraction may help in this instance. There are devices out there that can virtually mount ISOs as CD drives. Not all motherboards can support the option, but it's worth a shot if you're out of options.

The Zalman ZE300 is sold on Amazon and supports this function.
