Any aftermarket air coolers for 2080ti?

My PC is in bad shape (think it's a mobo issue but not too important because I've.decided its time to build a new one. It's 6 years old at this point.) My current rig has a factory water cooled 2080ti (EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Xc Hybrid) The card still works great and has more than enough horsepower and ram for what I throw at it. However the cooler is starting to make bubbling noises and is probably ready for the graveyard. Oh, and I know the card isn't the issue with my machine, as I have the same problems with it installed or using the onboard graphics. I'd love to reuse this card in my new build. Not having to buy a new GPU now would let me put more of my budget in things like the mobo and cpu. I can always upgrade the GPU again later. What I need is an aftermarket AIR cooler for this card. I know aftermarket coolers exist, but finding one for this particular board isn't the easiest thing to search for. Seems like they're less popular these days, and that's a rather older card now too. I had some good luck with an Artic one back in the day, but I don't think they make 'em anymore. Any recommendations, for particular coolers, or places to look? I'm also a little concerned that this particular Hybrid card might not be as standard as a stock 2080Ti and might have a different layout which could cause compatibility issues, but I'm not positive on that yet.

Thanks!

You may try to do some homework and figure out which pcb you have. Odds are the same one was used as a standard card. Then see if you can a cooler on ebay for that pcb.

Try contacting EVGA, they have good customer service and will point you in the right direction.

They were never cheap. But, I think prices are up due to being out of production.

The only things about that which would affect compatibility, are if the socket on your GPU is too close to the PCI bracket. Or if your case isn't large enoug to accomodate that thing + fans

And then you gotta figure out something else to cool the RAM, VRMs, etc.

*If you are real lucky, EVGA might be able to sell you one of their own heatsinks.

They're out of the GPU game and this card is loooong out of warranty.
Probably not for everyone. EVGA sold extended warranties on vid cards. IIRC you could buy up to 4 more years, so a total of 7. 2080Ti sales continued into 2020, so there will probably be some under warranty until sometime in 2027. So give them a buzz and see if they have the part you need.

If you want to get janky and cheap, just zip tie a CPU cooler on it, and get some copper heatsinks for the VRM's and memory. You can also zip tie a 40mm fan at the end of it to blow some direct air over the VRM's and memory. This can tide you over until you get a proper cooler for the card.

You really only need a fan on the VRMs, no heatsinks necessary for the 2080 ti. It's a great card to convert to a hybrid.

I happened to find them too soon after my initial post. Seems that this particular model is out of stock everywhere, but models for both older and newer cards can be found. Bad luck. There IS one on eBay, but they're asking a lot, and the photos shown aren't for the same model :/

I'll have to triple check my sku/model number. But that's a good lead!

I know for sure I didn't opt into that, and I don't know that I have a valid receipt any longer either. But I may reach out to them anyway, maybe they'll have some advice.
this is the way

otherwise, you should invest in a custom watercooling loop.

Yeah, I know, but if I don't mention, people usually go crazy.

Not the way for me. I want something a little more reliable than a zip-tied CPU cooler. And I certainly don't want to invest in a waterblock for a card I'll likely need to upgrade in a couple years anyway. Then redo the whole loop.. Ugh no, yuck. If I was aching for the minute overclocking gains a custom loop might provide, I wouldn't be trying to salvage my 5 year old card. Also, I just prefer air-cooled; easier to work with and maintain.

Bubbling isn't really something to worry about. Cracked lines or overheating due to lack of coolant should be your main worries.
