I know there are loads of these, i've searched high on low on [H] and Google.

But my question isn't about what's best for benchmarks and gaming, which of these would be better for Photoshop and other graphics work.

I know 4GB would help alot in 3D programs etc, but i can always go to 4GB if i get into serious 3D work right now im more 2D. What difference does 2GB have in Vista 32bit against 4GB when running Photoshop.

Yes i know 32 bit can't address all the 4GB because 2^32 is 4 million bla bla bla :p

If there are any PS users out there that have 4GB, have you tried with 2GB do you see much, if any performance boost?

I don't do heavy PS stuff but I'll tell you that 2GB to 4GB did virtually nothing for me except lower my overcock on my board...

until we have true 64 bit apps and OSes it will likely stay this way to one degree or another.

consider "iRAM" gets you around the 2GB limitation. doesn't hurt performance. Just costs more $$$

I think i'll get 2GB then at a later date if i need it (or just want it :p) ill buy it.
