It's only 26WH of energy. You should be able to hand carry up to 100WH of battery capacity on an airplane I believe. The regulation is designed to cover most laptop computers.

The 30Ah aukey unit is not 26Wh of energy. It is 3.7v * 30Ah = 111Wh of energy.

Not true. You can take portable batteries on planes. You can not take lithium batteries that are not in a container. It can not have exposed positive and negative connectors.

FWIW discharging before recharging is not what you want to do to prolong the service life of lithium batteries.

It's a lot. I have a portable battery with an AC outlet that can carry a charge for a laptop, right at the limit of 100wh.
