My guess is that they will expand this to managing apps like you used to be able to from the Play store

I think it's a little bit unsafe. I'll stick with Avast for now.

By unsafe, I mean if you sign into any google services and forget to log out, and some one can just remote wipe. There's just too many google services, such as hangout and youtube. Where as Avast, you don't normally sign onto it.

Same here. It could use a nicer client app and Web interface, but it has lots of functionality.
