America and Canada Ground All Boeing 737 MAX Planes

Apparently, even if the pilots were trained in Max 8 simulators they still wouldn't have been prepared for the situations that the Lion Air and Ethiopian Airlines pilots found themselves in.

On the Ethiopian flight, the pilots struggled to turn the wheel while the plane was moving at a high speed, when there is immense pressure on the tail. The simulators did not properly match those conditions, and Boeing pilots found that the wheel was far easier to turn than it should have been.

Eh? Did they turn off BOTH hydraulic systems? The 737 max has two hydraulic assists. Turn off the MCAS and auto pilot and you should still have hydraulics (to relieve control pressures). Or were they saying it was so far off base as to not be realistic at all even with hydraulic assist?

737 Max is a flying turd, just get over it.

Because the MCAS acted repeatedly it caused an extreme mistrim situation
Getting out of this mistrim situation is like reeling in a fish
You got to slow down first ( results in drop of altitude ) then climb up(using manual trim) and repeat the process till the trim can be corrected

YouTube video of simulator showed that, if this procedure was followed, even the most experienced pilots would have dropped 8000 feet

The Ethiopian never reached 8000 feet in its doomed flight

In short, this is what it all means:

Because in that situation they reenabled it. I am questioning the simulators accuracy and if they turned off both hydraulic systems.

I am not sure, I get you

When the ET situation was replicated in a simulator, the only way to recover the flight resulted in an altitude drop of 8000 feet

The Ethiopian flight never went above 8000 feet.
So no pilot on this world could have saved that flight (from Adis Ababa ) once its AoA vane got damaged immediately after takeoff
