AMD's Radeon R9 490X will reportedly arrive in 2016 with HBM2 and 14nm

That means 390x will most likely suck a$$ is they feel the need to spin some PR with that kind of announcement...... Too bad. :(
 
Will amd be first to market with hbm if so any card with hbm should kill everything else R9 390 and R9 390X are slated to come out with hbm in 2015.

nvidia wont have it till 2016 in the pascal series gpu...

If you look at the release date then you see that there a bit of the 6 month OEM cycle due to the broad 2016 claim it can be a long time until you get something new to replace "your" 390X.

And if you checked how long agro the 290X launched you know that it is taking a good while for the next videocard to arrive.
 
We should change the title of this to "490X coming soon few weeks"

LOL! Yeah, the goal would be to see if we can get it to over 200 pages of rumor propagation before the actual release.

(Now I'm off to check the 390x thread. ;) )
