Why's it gotta start when I leave for work? :/

I can't watch from work (on my lunch time)

Can someone summarize?

Zen3:
increase in performance and efficiency, best single thread performance/gaming performance

Zent 3 contd:
higher max boost, significan ipc uplift, new core layout, new cache topology, 7nm

Zen3 cntd:
cores on unified 8 core complex to improve core to core communication, lower latency, direct access to L3 cache, 19% IPC uplift

Zen3 contd:
most significant architectural change yet
advanced load/store performance and flexibiility, wider issue in float and int engines
19% IPC uplift geomean of 25 workloads, fixed at 4ghz 8 core workload

I just hear a bunch of keywords of increase, double, more, gaming...ohmy...

Zen3 contd:
2.4x performance per watt vs zen 1
24% performance per watt vs zen 2
2.8x more efficient than i9 10900k

5900x contd:
vs 3900x: rise of the tomb raider benchmark, 141fps vs 181fps, 28%, at 1080p

5900x contd:
cinebench 1 thread run vs 10900K: ryzen = 631, i9 = 544

Avg uplift 26%

Right now claims show fastest CPU on market period

Sorry Chintel you lose for now

5900x contd:
'the worlds fastest gaming CPU"
5950x: 16/32, 4.9GHz Boost, X.XGhz Base, 105w TDP $799
5900x: 12/24, 4.8GHz Boost, 3.7GHz Base, 105w TDP $549
5800x: 8/16, 4.7 Boost, 3.8GHz Base, 105w TDP $449
5600x: 6/12, 4.6 Boost, 3.7GHz Base, 65w TDP $299

Zen3 contd:
ryzen 9 5950x
16/12 boost to 4.9, 105w tdp, 72mb l2+l3 cache

Definitely the market leader but priced to match. It may be hard for me to justify a 5800x when 3700x can be had for ~$250 if not lower in the future.

5950x contd:
up to 29% more gaming performance vs 3950x
up to 59% more rendering performance vs intel
better/equal gaming performance vs intel
$799

Yeah, they're done being the budget "keep intel prices in check" option.
