Fixed Issues

  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided™ may experience minor stutter during gameplay when using AMD CrossFire mode or may crash when launching the in game benchmark.
  • The Crew™ may experience a random or sudden FPS drop while playing.
  • Battlefield™1 may experience flickering on some surfaces when using AMD CrossFire mode.
  • Radeon WattMan may fail to keep Power Limit settings after hitting apply in some cases.
  • Overwatch™ may experience flickering character models while in the hero selection menu or during gameplay in AMD Crossfire mode.
  • Paragon™ may experience flickering while using AMD FreeSync technology and AMD CrossFire mode in conjunction.
  • Pixel Format option is no longer missing for some Radeon RX 400 series products in Radeon Settings.
Known Issues

  • A few game titles may fail to launch, experience performance issues or crash if the third party application "Raptr" has its game overlay enabled. A workaround is to disable the overlay if this is experienced.
  • The Division™ may experience a game hang during extended periods of play while in AMD CrossFire mode.
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider™ may experience an application crash when changing the resolution from in-game menus when running DirectX®12. Users can restart the game to complete the resolution change.
  • While using or having Radeon WattMan open in Radeon Settings in AMD CrossFire mode, the secondary/slave graphics processor clocks will increase to their highest state.
  • H.264 content may experience blocky corruption when streaming using P2P content players on some Radeon RX 400 series graphics products.

So I installed these new drivers last night. Everything came up as normal except it didn't show the Vulkan Drivers version being installed. However, when I played Doom it did show the Vulkan driver being used. Anyone else have this issue?
 
the vulkan driver wasn't updated. only the video driver and crimson software got updated. if you uninstalled the old drivers first, vulkan does not get removed so it would still be there before installing the new drivers pack. this is totally normal.
 
I have a RX 480 now so this is my experience with it.

Drivers work fine in games, but break Hardware Acceleration in my browsers. Scroll through a Twitter or Facebook feed where there are autoplay videos and let one start. Then immediately scroll to another and let it autostart. Eventually Wattman will reset and crash your PC as Wattman only resets the voltage to stock; leaving the GPU core running at full speed. You can imagine how excited my PC is to suddenly have stock voltage combined with my 1480MHz OC. My fix is to disable Hardware Acceleration in all of my browsers which makes them slow and me very sad. :(

Drivers break Steam Big Picture Mode. If you enter BPM with a Steam Controller, select the cog wheel at the top. Work your way to the test where you can make sure that all of your buttons are working. You will get a D3D DEVICE has stopped working crash. I'm in the Steam Beta as that's where all the cool kids hang out.

I reported this via the AMD Issue Reporting Form. If you're having issues please report it also.

These work much better using DX 12 in Deus ExMD :angelic:. So I am playing again :cat:
