i'd say $700 for the 290x and $570 for the 290... this just just a hunch no valid info at all.
If by "confirmed" you mean "random prices popping up", yes.aren't the prices already confirmed in europe?
But to be fair ALL of these cards are WAY OVERPRICED
For $900, you can have tri-fire 7970 (R9-280x) and absolute tear apart a Titan for $100 less.
Yeah, something is going on about pricing based off of what Nvidia might do in that area. I have $1,600 in the bank ready to pull the trigger. I might just get 3 x 290's instead of 2 x 290x's

And have fraps showing your doing 130 fps when your really doing 40 fps on tri-fire 7970 , and on your $100 More Titan really be doing 100 fps . My mom always said you get what you pay for

prices are all over the place, seen one as low as $525, seem them as high as $850
Im sure AMD intentionally had them listed at random prices.
All we know for sure is that AMD said that $600 will not be the price. Kyle confirmed that at the livestream event in Hawaii.
So lower or higher is all we know. I'm betting <=$550.
yeah i'm guessing it'll be something around $580 MSRP for the retail cards which gives manufactures a little wiggle room on the custom cooled cards to be just under 600 at launch for the 290X ~525 for the 290 just because they said it would not be 600 dollars. it would be stupid of AMD to say that specific number if it was going to cost more than that.
Hope you have a 4k screen or running triple 30" screens because that would probably be too much overkill.... LOL. Also from experience running three cards, the heat, noise, and stuttering wasn't worth it.
They're just guessing because of the comments AMD made in Hawaii. Some of the retailers are guessing the product will hit > $599, some are guessing it will hit < than $599, because AMD ruled out a $599 MSRP at the reveal... Would be a real coup for them to hit the < than $599 mark...
PC gaming stalls for another 5 years it might not be a bad investment
Knowing the next node jump and generation is coming at the end of next year or early 2015, you will lose a lot of value. I don't see that as being a good investment at all.

This^Around $500 and everyone and their mama will be sporting R9 290X.
