9850 = q6600. q6600~$180 so.. you'll be waiting a long long time
 
tempting but I think I will pass until the 45nm come out. even then they are going to need to do something.

BTW the 65nm are going to bottom when that happens I think. then you'll get your sub 100 dollar quads.

Doubt it, they'll discontinue the CPUs
 
I'm gonna snatch one of these up tomorrow I'm pretty sure, as I think I found a buyer for my 9600 for the same price.

With AM2 X2 2.3ghz 65nm cpu's that overclock to near 3ghz at $25 shipped, quad core prices look kinda shabby.

I keep thinking of my 939 X2 that I paid $250 for in 2005 ($25 equal now).

You know you can still sell that for a buck fifty on eBay right? you can buy a new motherboard, cpu and memory for what you can sell that for. If its one of the faster ones you can get 200
