Need to see what the Ideapad and Swift bring to market. 2700U has to be better. Looking more at the Swift with the dual channel memory.

I just wish another model came out with a better quality IPS screen. That kind of kills it for me. Also, I can't stand non-matte finished screens, especially for laptops. They become almost unusable in situations where you have direct light.
I just want to see a 2700u release for the $500-$600 price point without sacraficing essential feature that can't be upgraded later down the road.
I'm not to sure if it is going to matter that much between the 2700U and 2500U because in real workloads there still balanced by the same amount of Watt?

PR and reality collide again.
Although this is a staggering difference, I emphasize that it's not representative of performance in the real world. If we don't remove the display from the picture, the Optimus-equipped Swift 3 only posted nine and a half hours of run time in our i5-8250U review, or only about half again as long as the Envy's six hours and 12 minutes.

From the same article.
Not shocked that you take only a small portion, rather a single point and post it without context.
ALL Posters that do this should be perma banned.
Why do you take exception to the display being isolated? Are we trying to compare CPUs, or LCD panels?

Because he doesn't like the result when the base systems are compared and why he wants information banned
If anyone wondered why AMD pretty much got no RR designs, this is it.
And then we dont have to mention how the Intel got a smaller and worn battery.
It is without reference isn't it ? just post something that makes the product look bad on something trivial. When is the last time you purchased a laptop based on an external monitor performance?
Can or did you read the quote? Did you not see shintai post comment above the graph? Context is king. Why do you take exception to the display being isolated? Are we trying to compare CPUs, or LCD panels?

Did you see me say anything like that? Did I contest the graph as a lie? NO!!!Are you going to ignore the context of the review, and why they tested with an external monitor? Why the deflections here?
Should we start using different monitors for desktop CPU tests and then include the power usage of the monitor in the results?
PR and reality collide again.

I contested this ignorant asinine comment below:
And maybe since you seem to be so intuitive at the moment, answer my questions directly rather than obfuscate my points.
I have no problem with the news. Your typical drive-by trolling comment with it is the problem. And how about the quote I posted from the very same article just below your graph? ... Yeah I know you don't like it because it does not prop up your delusional interest. Why dont you relate to the fact both CPUs are supposed to be equal in power usage when PR slides are to be believed. Yet here we are, a plain massacre as usual. One is power efficient, the other is anything but that.
I get you dont like the news, but it is what it is.
