Posted about my experiences here - https://hardforum.com/threads/adrenaline-24-9-1.2037264/#post-1045969653 - to be fair, 24.10.1 has not given me any issues thus far.

They do...yeeeah. Ignore this. But I was assured by all the AMD fans on this board that AMD has flawless drivers now.

They have been quite good for me. As a swapper between NVIDIA and AMD failry often the key was to go for more than DDU. I'm sure there are easier ways but a clean build set me up for success.
The fact that they're having problems in what...one of the top 3 most popular games in the world? Is insane to me. To be fair - NVIDIA had similar issues with Fortnite/DX12: https://old.reddit.com/r/FortNiteBR/comments/1g48nbm/psa_fortnite_crashes_on_pc_the_past_few_weeks/
Haha, one comment and it’s premature. Both my son’s 4070 SUPER rig and my AMD rigs have the issue - forcing DX11 fixes it for now.View attachment 688477
I guess reports of a bugged driver were premature. Looks like the game maybe the culprit there.
This kind of thing happened in Apex multiple times over the ~2 years I played it. They would release a major update, some would have crashing issues. People came up with all kinds of "fixes" but honestly it was a waste of time. You simply just played and accepted you might crash or waited until they patched it and fixed the game.Haha, one comment and it’s premature. It’s definitely the game - just doubtful reinstalling fixes it. We had luck for a few rounds too and then crashes returned.
It's an awesome game - and one of the most graphically advanced ones, to boot!Fortnite. LOL.
I remember watching my former boss's kid.Play it on his tablet and it looked like a game for children. But if i'm wrong i'm wrongIt's an awesome game - and one of the most graphically advanced ones, to boot!
You're not wrong! They've got the whole Roblox thing going on - but scaled up to older teens.I remember watching my former boss's kid.Play it on his tablet and it looked like a game for children. But if i'm wrong i'm wrong
It's not. But I don't care that people enjoy it. It's giving EPIC tons of money, which allows them to keep creating development tools for other game studios. It's an awesome game - and one of the most graphically advanced ones, to boot!

Haha.No issues in DX12 on either 24.9.xx or newest 24.10.1
Besides if you are pro you play in DX11 with details set to lowest so that grass or other details don't help to cover your enemies while lowering your frame rate to measely 120fps.
Heck, you might want to adjust texture LOD and make everything look like N64 game.
Thankfully I am not a pro
Maybe it is only issue with RDNA3 or maybe it is graphics option specific. I haven't experienced any issues whatsoever and there on top of running problematic GPU drivers I am running unpatched 13900KFIt’s strange - my 7900 XT would crash more to the point where I am now forcing DX11. A reference 7900 XTX that I had would crash very sparingly (same system). Then on another rig a Sapphire Nitro+ 7900 XTX has not crashed more than once - but I still forced DX11 since as anyone knows nothing is worse than a CTD when playing online.
Maybe it’s the system or maybe 7900 XT is affected more? All of the cards were and are rock solid in any other workload (and are now in everything now that DX11 is forced).
Haha wow - double whammy!Maybe it is only issue with RDNA3 or maybe it is graphics option specific. I haven't experienced any issues whatsoever and there on top of running problematic GPU drivers I am running unpatched 13900KF
