AMD Dual Fiji Announced? AMD Pro Duo!

Only have two slots available due to RAID controller and PCI-e SSD. Going quad not cross. The same can be said about 290X vs 295X2: anyone looking at dual gpu cards and comparing in terms of price is an idiot. These are never for anyone on a budget, as with any halo card.

If money is no object, and I actually saw data where frame times weren't worse than one card for quad card multiGPU, I'd get a board that could do quad watercooled Fury Xs. (Or Titan X's)

I have never seen good frame time data for quad GPU sli/crossfire systems. Three GPUs is usually a crap shoot. Dual GPU can be tempting at times.

I always wondered if frame limiting would help with frame times. I personally use vsync because I can't stand tearing. If you max out at 100FPS, would limiting to 80 even out your frame times completely.

Anywho I never cared for dual GPU cards on a single card. I don't need to spent hundreds more for gimped performance and VRMs.

I've had similar experiences with multi GPU setups. But 3 GPU's is probably a nightmare with the drivers. This is a cool card but I don't see it legit being anything but a show piece that few can afford (among us at least not concerning professional usage).

My board already supports Quadfire @ 16x per slot, however I'm already using two of them at all times. Will be similarly limited even when going m.2 later this year, due to lanes being taken away.

I have a feeling this card will review well and it sounds like you're the demographic for it. The design bodes well for a two GPU card more than any other. If you make the plunge - luck and enjoy!
