I ran into one of these a bit ago through a friend who pulled it from an emachines server that his family bought from best buy. He took the 3400+ venice then dropped a 2800+ sempron in it.

They exist, and I would venture to say they are great chips with amazing overclocking abilities. Sadly I doubt it's worth the money to replace my 3400+ NewCastle with it, since they share almost the same exact stats and I'm happy with my current processor.

Still, it's cool that they're out there! Hf with it!

Where did you get it from? I have been looking for these for some time now.
Socket 754 Venice cpu's come in 3 flavors:
Athlon 64 3400+, OPN: 'ADA3400AIK4BO' - rev. DH-E3, 2.4GHz, 512KB L2-cache, 67W TDP
Athlon 64 3200+, OPN: 'ADA3200AIO4BX' - rev. DH-E6, 2.2GHz, 512KB L2-cache, 59W TDP
Athlon 64 3000+, OPN: 'ADA3000AIK4BX' - rev. DH-E6, 2.0GHz, 512KB L2-cache, 51W TDP
Hopefully AMD will develop a 3700+ Venice also to round out the field. No word on that as yet.

A 3700+ would be very welcomed! If you find somewhere to buy the 3400+, please post here or let me know :) I will do the same for you if I come accross any. Thanks.

Oops - sorry about the double post above - thought I was editing my original post. DOH!

I will certainly post here if I can find a 3200+ or 3400+ "in the wild." So far I cannot find either of these gems. I did find one website advertising s754 Venice 3200+ and 3400+ cpu's but when I called they told me it was a mistake and that they were actually Newcastles instead. Boy, they had me going there for a minute!
