...whoa. I know I'm gonna wind up upgrading from the 3900X to the 3950X at some point to ride my X370 for a while.

I'm still holding out a bit of hope that they will have a bios update for 4000 series... My board has 128Mb bios memory. 🙃 Regardless, this is out of my acceptable price range - for what I do I'd be better off with a 10900K.
