I don't own one of these. I just don't have any interest. But, if I did, I guess I would consider that my privacy is probably already totally gone with the devices I already own.

It's a good point. I rant about corporate control and Alexa/Google Home, but have the world's greatest snooping device in my pocket as I do so; something something cast out the beam in thine own eye.
 
They sell their data to everyone so does Google does anyone actually care what you are doing in your basement no ...unless that basement is in a volcano next to a shark tank lol
