amazon payments and credit cards

Is it just as risky to accept credit card payments through amazon as it is through PayPal?

I honestly wished this Amazon payments would become a sticky here.

Credit cards gives the buyer more protection. As with anything Credit card used to make a payment. You are covered by that purchase warranty and then backed by the credit card also.

I highly doubt that a credit card will cover warranty from anything not purchased through a retail store.
