Prime Day 2017 will start at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Monday, July 10, giving Prime members 30 hours to shop instead of 24 like the previous events. As the name would suggest, you’ll need to be a Prime member to take part of the special deals, which include exclusive offers on Alexa devices and “one of its largest total volume TV deals in history.” I remember the first one being a bust and the second not much better, but we’ll see what happens this year.

The third annual Prime Day will be Tuesday, July 11, with hundreds of thousands of deals exclusively for Prime members around the world. New this year, members can enjoy 30 hours of deal shopping starting at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Monday, July 10 – and new deals as often as every five minutes. Prime Day has expanded to 13 countries this year, and Amazon is bringing new and existing members in the U.S., U.K., Spain, Mexico, Japan, Italy, India, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium and Austria the best deals of the year. Members will find millions of items in stock, including deals from thousands of small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Ah, the annual spectacle when Amazon unloads all the crap they couldn't sell the rest of the year because nobody really wants any of it under the guise of an epic sale!

Each time I spend the day browsing in my breaks at work, only to never buy a thing.

    Pretty much.

Or we will have 5 items that you might want...but we sold out in a tenth of a second!

I remember last prime day. It was a bunch of garbage and made-in-china knockoff crap.

I could use another Dot, so might as well wait for what will probably be $10 off.

If you want actual bags of crap, Woot.com (owned by Amazon) is having a Woot Off on 7/11 where they will be selling "Bags of Crap" on and off throughout the day.

Not sure I am comfortable buying TVs online. But since it looks like the only B&M stores that will be left around here will be Best Buy and Walmart, I might not have a choice.

My last tv was a 50" and bought through amazon. Box was in much better condition than many of the ones I have seen on shelves at best buy.

Also, BB and walmart have 'special' sku's for some of their tvs so sometimes you end up with a tv that the manufacturer doesnt warranty because you have to go through your B&M store.

For stuff like this is Costco or nothing. Automatic 3 year warranty on all TVs and an incredibly generous return policy.

Yea, but I just go through it so fast. They need to add that to the Subscribe & Save plan.

Amazon Prime Day. They killed it the first time. It had a lot of hype and then they dropped the ball. Second one, people weren't as excited. This time? Just another day.

I thought it was 2 years and 30day support

With the Visa card it goes to 4 years and 90 day support

Pretty sure mine was 1 year + 2 years (from Costco) plus another year from my credit card but maybe I'm wrong. It was a while ago.

I will say that those credit card warranties are absolutely fantastic though.

The 2 years from Costco run concurrent to the manufactures warranty. So it's really only one extra year from Costco.

The Costco Visa makes it 4 year(concurrently so it's really 3 extra)

    If I remember correctly.

Print day actually had great deals, people choose to focus on the crap because. The problem seems to be stock and wading through hundreds of items nobody wants to find them
