Am I crazy or did switches get more expensive?

I bought my D-Link gigabit 8 port switch about a year ago for $40 with a $20 rebate AND free shipping. That rebate was going on for what seemed like forever as well. As you can see I am not looking for high performance gear but doesn't it seem like a lot of the consumer grade switches have gone up in price?
 
Based on the prices I have seen, costs have stayed about the same.
Shipping will vary depending on the company and timing of purchase.

I have really stopped looking at prices (within reason) and just buy the product with the features i needed.
