Just a heads up that there's a 2D cartoon type shooter free on Steam this weekend.

I played it for a couple hours last night and it's actually pretty fun. You level up and unlock items sort of like in MW2. It doesn't have much depth, but you get what you pay for (free!).
 
I paid $2.50 for it I think... :D Fun game, but hardly play it, too many great games, not nearly enough time to play them.

Level 42 and 14 hours already.
This game is the shit, best $5 eva!

I ran into some cstrike gametype where you had to land on the base and "plant" the bomb.
so awesome.

(filters dont work in the server browser though......)
 
I've been trying to play for the past few days, but most of the servers throw up and have connection problems. I think I've been on one good server since I've tried, and it was full of people way above me in levels. I am not certain if I need to open firewall ports or if the servers are screwed up. So far it's OK, but it's more frustration than actual playing so far.
 
Oh wow, I thought all my connection issues from the game were because of my crappy wireless. I guess it happens to a lot of people.
