Allow users to change their own thread titles?

**Sorry, if this has been proposed already**

I believe it would be beneficial to allow users to change their thread titles in the FS/T area. It allows users to update their thread title as items are sold/added, instead of opening a completely new thread. It also would get rid of the wait time/the need to contact a mod if a change was requested.

The forum already allows us to close our own threads, so why not allow us to change titles too? ..are there any negatives for allowing this?
 
This has been posted so many times, but yeah I don't really see why it hasn't been done. Until that day, I'll keep bugging the mods to update my title or repost a new thread.
 
Because it's a universal vBull setting that cannot be changed for just a single forum and Kyle doesn't want it to be an option in other forums.
