AIW 9700 pro severe artifacting

Hey guys, hope I can get some help. Have had a AIW 9700 for about 1 1/2 years now, never had any problems until recently. Lately, it seems as f the card just randomly artifacts, so bad that I have to sue hot keys to shut it down. Black and while lines/checker boxes all the way down, when I am just sitting on the desktop, browsing the net, ect. I sent my card back to ATI, got a new one, seemed to work for 2 days then started happening again. Anyone got any ideas? I will post all the components in my system just in case its a power issue. I don't think so, I got a 550 watt PSU, but I have a lot of stuff in here...

A7V8x Mobo with most recent bios and VIA drivers
Audigy 2 platinum
1 gig ram
5 hard drives, all 8 MB 7200 western digitals, with 1 120, 2 200's, and 2 250's (2 on mobo, 2 on IDE controller card, 1 SATA mobo).
DVD burner and CD burner.
550 watt antec PS
AIW 9700 pro
5 case fans

Thanks so much. I dont know how much power hard drives pull, but on the molex the video card is on I Have 2 hard drives and the vid card, thats all.
