I'm not very tolerant of noisy computers and the fan on the stock heatsink is giving off a very high pitched unpleasant noise. I am wondering what heatsink would give me near silent operation without costing a lot? I tried looking at newegg but only found 2 heatsinks listed as platform 1155? Unless I did my search wrong which is possible. This cpu will be very lightly stressed and not overclocked (don't even think it can be overclocked). I ran prime95 today with 0 case fans running and the cpu never broke 62c under full load with the stock heatsink/fan. I'm just hoping for a cheap solution that doesn't drive me insane with a high pitched whine. The quieter and cheaper the better. Thanks.
