It's backordered... but I bought mine from ncix here for over 20$ less than newegg...

I have an unused one sitting in a drawer (planned on SLI for my GTX460 but never did it). My single GTX 460 is OC'd to 875 Mhz and has never topped 60C with the Twin Turbo II (and is usually in the low 50s with the fan on auto). At that OC its probably using more power than a GTX 680. Mwave has it for $40 in stock.

Its good to know its compatible. I don't plan on getting a GTX 680 though - waiting for the next step down to be released.

Order placed with MWave. I was able to get a +300 mhz offset stable on my MSI 680 with a mild voltage bump, but it was hot and noisy. Will be interesting to see how far it can be pushed with a better cooler.

Its a pretty straightforward installation. Worst part is waiting for the thermal glue to cure (took around six hours I think). It comes off easy though should you ever need to remove it. The actually installation took about 30-40 minutes.

but does this cooler keep the card any cooler while also not being any more loud?

I have this same cooler on the unlocked/oc'd 6950 in my wife's computer....

Dropped my idle/load temps over 10C and is barely audible as opposed to a leaft blower.

My 680 is pretty quiet, though.. I don't think the accelero would be much quieter, but I bet it would be cooler.

I may just try some different TIM on my 680 and see if temps will drop a few degrees. Currently @ stock under load it hits 76c which isnt bad.

Accelero Twin Turbo II installed on my GTX 680. :)

I had trouble installing it a bit , both 2.3mm spacers and 4mm spacers do not fit for the GTX 680, only the 3mm spacers fit perfectly, good thing I had my spare AXP II with 3mm spacers those are the only ones that fit for it keep that in mind. Didn't come with a GTX 680 manual but I manage to figure it out.

Idle temps are 26c , load temps 51c.

That's a big oversight on their part. If they say something is compatible it should include everything needed. If not, they should say its "potentially compatible" with a part not currently included.

Just installed mine, the black ~2mm spacers worked perfectly. I had problems with my double sided tape not working...had to hold everything in place while my GF screwed it in from the bottom. Serious PITA.

+1 for the helpful GF.

would any of the current owners happen to have a silverstone RV02 or FT02? If not would you be willing to put your case on its face to see if this accelero II works in a vertical position before I buy one?

I got an email response back from Arctic Cooling. They actually sent me a revised instructions install sheet with the 680 added. And for those who are wondering its the black spacers you use.....

I had Accelero Xtreme Plus in FT02 and my load temps were around 50 on 580 with the max fan speed set to 40%. I wouldn't think TT would be any different.

You know what they say about assuming things. I prefer confirmation 100%.

Nice. Thanks for posting those photos. Answers many questions I had, including whether it takes up more than two slots.

Those are some great numbers with the Accelero. What were your temps and fan speeds with the stock cooler?

Temps with stock cooler were ~20-25c higher, and I had to run fan speed at around 50% to keep it there. Stock cooler was audible to me at that rpm.

I might be getting this cooler and putting in my FT02. I'm having a problem staying below 70C by like 1-3 degrees and want to do more than just put a high flow bracket on it. If I can't get results from someone else running this cooler on a 680 with an FT02, then I'll be the guinea pig. Plus, I've got lots of IC Diamond sitting around to use while the card is opened up.

I shall wait patiently!

I ordered two of these to use on my SLI 680 setup. Anyone know if you can use these and the EVGA Backplates at the same time?

Are there Any special parts in the new coolers that make it compatible with the 680? Cause I'd much rather order it off amazon or eBay (nib but perhaps older version/model).

My kit didn't come with any special parts specific to the gtx680. Used the same mounting hardware that's used on old, old cards.
