Aerogate III fan control device

I just recieved and installed this device. It works great, but there's only one thing that bugs me, and that's how ridiculously loud the speaker is when trying to adjust the fan RPM. When you adjust it, there is a beep, about as loud if not louder than a microwave timer going off. I emailed coolermaster about it and they said there is no way of disabling the beep. Do any of you have this device and figured a way to disable it? I get a headache changing my fan rpm.

Find the speaker and squeeze it with a pair of plyers. :p
Or take it off completely.
